Spanning around 20 hectares of nature, Pedras Salgadas Park is one of the great thermal treasures of inland Portugal. It is home to several historic mineral water springs — including the Dona Maria Pia, Dom Fernando and Grande Alcalina fountains — the source of the award-winning Água das Pedras mineral water.
The thermal bathhouse, redesigned by architect Siza Vieira, sits alongside a lake, swimming pools, and walking and cycling trails through the surrounding vegetation. An ideal place to walk, breathe fresh air and taste the mineral water straight from the source.
